It confirms what I (and everyone) have been picking up. The propaganda machine is very professional. My granddaughter has a Ukranian/Russian friend who has been reduced to tears by her grandmother in Russia comprehensively denying and pooh-poohing everything the girl or her parents have tried to explain to her.

The boarding dept. of the school this friend attends is full of Russian and Chinese pupils - all the Russian ones we have heard of are getting the same sort of reaction.

Once again it is demonstrated that the pen is more powerful than the sword in many ways.

It is frightening. Russia is in the hands of a despot and ordinary Russians are suffering.The problem is he has set up such a controlling regime that it will be hard to dismantle. Will the next president be as bad?.

You have to wonder why the Russian people aren’t asking why the whole of the western world is against them? I can’t help thinking if we were being treated on such a scale as a pariah I would have to ask why? Logic must dictate that there’s something amiss in the information they’re being fed.

It must have been easier to convince people then though, DTC. A crackly radio, newsreels and snail mail were about the only forms of communication. In this day and age with the internet and people of all nationalities, including Russians, living all over the world, how can reality possibly be withheld from them?
