Forty-one percent of his own MPs don't support him as their leader.
Lol, brilliant, I'm expecting all the MP's that gave Boris a vote of no confidence will now resign as they can't work under such a PM.

Anyone seen gulliver?
I'm happy with that even though we all know he's a nobhead, but really who'd step in...
148 of his own Mp's voted they have no confidence in him -hurrah! a victory........

Theres nothing 'brilliant' about it. Theresa May had to resign a few months after receiving a vote of no confidence from 135 of her MP's.

Hurrah we now have our own home grown Trump.

Theresa May would tell you very differently.
Speculation was that those against might reach 100 which would have been uncomfortable. To get almost an extra 50% than predicted is terminal.
Theresa May was a drip! at least with Boris we can see straight through him now.

The fatal blow is dealt, coup de grace is in the post.

Someone from headquarters will be along shortly on one of the threads to cry 'fools'.
Boris may have survived but he's on life support. We just have to wait now to see if his plug will be pulled out lol!

Lol, George Eustace the Environment Sec is describing the 148 as a ‘significant minority’.
148 votes of no confidence? 'Tis but a scratch ...

He’s halfway out the door .
Lol at Ellipsis.
“Lol, brilliant, I'm expecting all the MP's that gave Boris a vote of no confidence will now resign as they can't work under such a PM. ”

How sound that help the PM: he has 2 by-elections to worry about already: another 148??!!
Plenty to see.

Johnson one step nearer the door.
Thatcher was told to go when she unconvincingly won the first round of a leadership contest.
May did a lot better than Johnson today, but she was gone a few months later.
If Boris stays he harms the party’s prospects at the polls. The men in grey suits can be ruthless.
