I think it needs to be that way round, I don't asking the anti-dog brigade to address the problem would ever be accepted by dog lovers.
Wouldn't it be lovely if we could find a way to make everybody happy, or is that just wishful thinking.

I am surprised that the guy's own dogs didn't scare off the other dog. It is possible that it all happened so quickly.
Canary - I am not criticising your anti-dog point of view but there are many more people killed by other human beings than by dogs.
It is said that there is no such thing as a bad dog, but I don't believe that to be true. All animals (including us) develop into adults with a combination of nature and nurture.
But I also believe that people should be made to learn about dogs before they are allowed to get one.
This guy was out walking his two beautiful Rottweillers - it is unfair to tarnish his dogs due to the action of others.
It is like saying that if one man is a rapist then they all are.
I had to muzzle my rescue dog, he was a big dog aged 5 years when I got him. He was a nervous wreck and a bit untrustworthy as a result.
