I think. along with the Tavistock Clinic, it is about time that Stonewall was consigned to the dustbin of history.

Absolutely - but the indulgence of attention-seeking immature children, with attention-seeking immature parents driving their views, is not something to be taken seriously, nor does it actually impact on their well-being and dignity.

// "There is also a separate duty to provide single-sex toilets in schools, breach of which would be unlawful," Ms Braverman said. //
//er, not true.//
Er..it is true, and Ms Braverman, as the Attorney-General, a graduate in law from Cambridge and a QC, would probably have investigated before making her statement.
What you are suggesting is that it would be perfectly lawful (and presumably acceptable) for eleven and twelve year old girls at a mixed secondary school to share toilet facilities with sixteen year old boys. It's neither lawful nor acceptable. Schools have a duty to provide single sex toilet and changing facilities and, if they had any sense, would make sure that the biological sex of the pupils determines which of the two they use.
Far worse than educational establishments is the absolutely ludicrous behaviour of the NHS, which, as an organisation, seems to have embraced "trans rights" to such an extent that they have instructed their staff to tell lies to the police when they are investigating serious crime. They seem to expect their staff to accept fiction as fact and to go along with the fairy tales that their patients are spinning them. This is absolutely outrageous and is leading to all sorts of problems for the 99.5% of their patients who do not claim to be transgender.
This item is news because the A-G is attempting to reinforce the law upon organisations that are seeking to act unlawfully. Quite why these outfits have seen fit to trash the requirements of 99.5% of the population to indulge a few fantasists is a little mysterious. But it needs to be stopped.
