Good to see the government getting on top of this in Johnson’s last few days, even more records to add to his fitting legacy.

Frome here, dave (if we attempted to return them). Sorry, I didn't make that quite clear.
//So what happened to taking back control of our borders that we were promised?//
It’s been explained to you that the control mentioned was of legal migration. The UK had no control over that (from the EU) whilst it was a member.
//Round up the illegal migrants daily, put them into landing craft and return them to a French beach because we’ve not been getting the service we paid for.//
I quite agree. But no government (of any persuasion) will do that and even if they did they would be thwarted by our HRA, the ECHR and our Modern Slavery Act (hence points 2, 3 and 4 of my earlier post).

On men, women AND children?
Of course you would!
Congrats on moronic post of the week though.
Could’ve done with you in Afghanistan, charging into empty buildings as an IED detector.

From the link.
Last year, a total of 28,526 people are known to have made the crossing - up from 8,404 in 2020.
Babies and young children wrapped in blankets and wearing woolly hats were among those seen being brought ashore at Dover on Monday.
The crossings came after three days when no crossings were made due to bad weather.
