//I wouldn't say he did nothing wrong or that he was honest in everything BUT - whatever failings he had did little harm to the country at larger in the bigger scheme of things.//
The relatives of those who died in a lockdown whilst his government partied away might argue differently, as night the Pincher victims.
But fair play, you’re putting yourself forward as a candidate with a strong nomination there.

The unfortunate way some people died during lockdowns was a personal tragedy. Whatever Boris was doing had no effect on that however offended folk may feel. Pincher's victims (or snowflakes as I prefer to call them) were victims before Boris got involved in any way.

I heard that said before but dont see any logic in the point fatticus.
Your suggesting those who died died because the PM had some cake and cheese and wine partys?

Lol, of course you don’t see any logic, how would you?
How am I suggesting that the Covid dead succumbed because the PM had a bit of cake?
Puncher aside(which you’ve completely ignored) I’m pointing out that many are no doubt resentful that they couldn’t visit the bedside of dying relatives nor attend funerals because of legislation and lockdown that the PM introduced, only to break those rules himself and for his staff and government to do so on multiple occasions regularly, for which the PM lied to the public and parliament but as I’ve said you’re the last person I’d expect to understand or comprehend.
As for Ukraine, turning up there for a photo opportunity to boost his flagging image every time he faced a crisis at home doesn’t really count for much.

Perhaps you can explain what the connexion is between people dying in lockdown and the Boris party... if your not saying it brought on there deaths are you saying they should of broken the rules and had a party before they died? My guess is your saying nothing really just trying to appear clever

I was just saying to my wife earlier: so what if Johnson thinks he's Churchill? As far as I concerned he can strut around Kyiv smoking a cigar: the fact is his words matter and his commitment matters, and that - along with the financial and military as well as moral support - have an effect. You can say if you like that "we pay our energy bills in money, but the Ukrainian people pay in blood" is just rhetoric, but in the context of this war, those words are very pertinent.
Last night a small girl burned to death in a railway carriage and an 11 year old boy was crushed to death, as a result of a russian rocket. So the sniping and the cynicism about Johnson is I feel in rather bad taste. Still, all are entitled to their opinions.

//^^^^ any excuse to snipe at Boris eh!. Of course you didn't expect him to provide billion from his own resources did you. Like it or not he is still PM and goes to Ukraine as our representative.//
Well when his own trusted adviser of 10+ years resigns because she told him not to use the misjudged Savile accusation on Starmer but did anyway then yes, people will snipe at him but especially so when he’s a proven liar.
