I post this because there are some sycophants on here who reasoned that because he fared fairly well in the recent poll on here that despite lying and covering for a sexual predator he ought to still be in post(the ‘wet dream’ scenario, excusing such behaviour for the greater good).
One foolishly believes that AB is a microcosm of the outside world and AB polls are an indicator for such.
I’d reason that said poll(about next PM) of what, maybe 80 ABers at best, most of whom are 50+ is not really reflective of the real world?
Others tell us though that polls in the real world are not reflective, nor record-breaking swings in by-elections.
Who to believe eh?
Furthermore, the next PM believes he did a brilliant job and the media, not his own behaviour and parliamentary party did for him.
Oh dear, how sad, never mind.

The Johnson Premiership has been chaotic. Mostly self inflicted mistakes. He promoted loyalty above talent, so the Government is full of incompetent duffers. He is a poor planner and tactician and was easily influenced by the wrong people. But his biggest failing is that he wasn’t truthful. When everyone knows you are lying, you lose all respect from...

//I’d reason that it’s more accurate and reflective of the public mood //
/That isn't 'reason' though, fatticusinch. Your 'reason' is based on a flawed claim. Less than half of that pathetically small sample agree with you. The rest - the majority - presumably don't./
1,100 is pathetically small? What terminology would you use for the number of ABers who answered the poll?
Your perpetual denial of observable facts reflects very badly on you, it’s obvious that reason and rationale are strangers to you, your blind devotion to such an odious character speaks volumes.

I remember the last 9 PMs and I wouldn't like to say who I judged the worst. I'd say Blair was the best. A lot less divisive than Thatcher, even taking into account the war for which he is unjustly vilified,
Johnson I'd say is easily the most obviously dishonest. As I've said before though it probably need a rogue to get Brexit over the line with a "deal" even if that deal was essentially a con trick.
If you twisted my arm I'd go with: Cameron, a small man out of his depth. Johnson for all his failings did have achievements to his name. Once Cummings left tho it was largely downhill all the way.

We had one in Australia until the recent federal election that made Boris look like an angel.
The latest thing to come out in a chain of scandals is that he secretly had himself sworn in as a minister in four different portfolios as well as his own. A notorious chronic misogynist, he has apologised to the male ministers he was shadowing but not the woman.
Most members of his own party are now trying to get as far away from him as possible.

//No, the Tory party made it official//
/No they didn't - you did. Give it up, fatticusinch. You can't even spin convincingly/
….says the person who denies that he lied, was hounded out by traitors and cowards(not because of his outrageous behaviour) and refers to his adulterous affairs as ‘his sex life’!
PMSL, you’re so far removed from reality it’s actually quite frightening.
But that level of fanaticism always is.

//Winston Churchill was once asked if he lied in Parliament. He replied " Yes, and I will continue to do so". And he is considered, quite rightly, the best ever Prime Minister.//
I agree that he was and is so. Not sure he ever lied about predatory sexual behaviour though, plus he wasn’t exactly without his faults.
