I post this because there are some sycophants on here who reasoned that because he fared fairly well in the recent poll on here that despite lying and covering for a sexual predator he ought to still be in post(the ‘wet dream’ scenario, excusing such behaviour for the greater good).
One foolishly believes that AB is a microcosm of the outside world and AB polls are an indicator for such.
I’d reason that said poll(about next PM) of what, maybe 80 ABers at best, most of whom are 50+ is not really reflective of the real world?
Others tell us though that polls in the real world are not reflective, nor record-breaking swings in by-elections.
Who to believe eh?
Furthermore, the next PM believes he did a brilliant job and the media, not his own behaviour and parliamentary party did for him.

I am not sure history will be kind to the Bozo's passing relationship with honesty, but the worst, what about David Cameron and Gordon Brown, both were pretty poor PM's.

World of difference between alleged poor performance and lying/moral bankruptcy/law-breaking though.
Even some Tories on here reckon Brown did a good job of saving the economy and at lest Cameron had the good grace to resign and leave almost immediately after the Brexit vote.
The squatting narcissist has been corrupt, inept and graceless……and even went on a farewell tour, as if that would endorse his ‘legacy’.

Brown got us through the last period of economic turmoil pretty well, though he could have thrown a few more bank CEOs onto the bonfire. Cameron left of his own free will having misjudged the public mood. I didn't have any big problems with either of them. The current mob make both of them look like titans.

The most important phase in which to respond to a pandemic is the first few weeks when it is still containable… johnson did not attend the first five crucial COBRA meetings… the UK was alone for several weeks pursuing a “herd immunity” strategy that was a disaster and allowed new infections to skyrocket… he was going around boasting about “shaking hands with everybody” when distancing was vital… his government ignored the advice of the WHO by ending contact tracing at a time when it could have made a huge difference… the care homes catastrophe happened under the watch of him and Hancock. The weeks of dithering and delay in feb/mar 2020 do not suggest a “leader” who understood or cared about the threat he was being warned about… they suggest a careless and rather lazy person who wished it would go away.

i will never agree that Johnson “got us through covid”... Many of his competitors in the 2019 leadership election would have done a far better job… I dislike Jeremy Hunt but his familiarity with health policy and his work ethic would have been far more useful… Johnson’s leadership made a bad situation far worse. Thousands are without a doubt dead because of his carelessness and poor judgement.

he is a good speaker and can be quite funny… but he’s been absolute mess at every cabinet post he’s ever had!
