sounds like Morrisons have dangerous premises and have impounded his vehicle without just cause.
cant see how he can move it looks like its jammed .. up to the car washes maintenance team to get this out i would have thought and surely he has a big claim on their insurance
Ain't no place to be if you plan on being a star.
Well that must be the cleanest car in history. :0)
Not totally surprised. Some while back a cashpoint in the Asda store wall messed up. Didn't get my cash IIRC (but details vague as too long ago). Went in asking them to sort it, they weren't interested. Washed their car, er... I mean hands of it. Their wall providing money to their customers to spend in their store but, "Not our problem guv. Go talk to the bank that owns it. Our wall but we don't give a darn."
that sounds fair enough, OG: it's not like Asda fill it with money, they just rent the space out to the bank
There is usually a disclaimer on drive thru car washes which says you are using it entirely at your own risk.
And as such, jno, should take responsibility for sorting issues with their contractor and their equipment. Not the slightest bit reasonable.
I disagree, OG: if I rent my garage to someone there's no special reason why I should be responsible for his malfeasances, and I'd probably have something to that effect put in the lease.
'The retailer displays disclaimer signs at its car washes which state the supermarket chain are not responsible for damage to vehicles if there is no fault to the machine.'

There obviously is a fault with the machine because it's trapped a vehicle for days
Reminder to self: Never use a car wash machine.

So you know for certain it wasn't user error?
Tesco car wash scratched my car bonnet and wing. No water came out. Eventually they paid for respray. No compensation or apology. Not used it since.
What could the user do when the vehicle has started its journey and the machine is in operation? You just sit there until the light or sign tells you to go.
Park incorrectly / move the vehicle whilst the car wash is in operation / not engage the handbrake.

happened to me at ASDA car wash once..had to phone store and someone came out to override the controls so I could escape !!
I think you're in the YouTube vid, Minty!
