DT's article suggested that the lines were spiked by Rusky subs months ago and then the explosions triggered more recently - no ships allowed in the area as they could sink with the methane changing the water density, no aircraft either as they could go 'boom' - must be a lot of gas escaping.

It's been said often enough but worth repeating: if Russia stops fighting there will be no war.
If Ukraine stops fighting there will be no Ukraine.
Quite how long Putin will be allowed to keep sending tens of thousands of his citizens to be himars fodder no one knows.

Looks like the annexations have been postponed.
Maybe it has dawned, with a quarter of a million Russians having skeddadled to Georgia and Mongolia etc, that there isn't a huge appetite for dying to defend territories part of which are still part of another country (!)
