Truss is thinking of cancelling the Conference.
Is Sunak house hunting in California ?
There are always protests at these conference, Fatticus. All the scroungers who don't work turn out in force to vent their anger at the suggestion they might have to get a job or lose their benefits paid for by the rest of us.
Just hope Therese Coffey remembers to go to Birmingham and not Blackpool.
Spungle @10.44 That means all the Tory MPs will be on the outside looking in then. lol.

Spungle,
//All the scroungers who don't work turn out in force//

You mean the government, because they’re certainly not working for me, nor 99% of the population it would appear?
Question Author
Seems Rishi Rich is not the only one skipping conference.

non-attendance by some may not all be due to fall out from the "budget" - there are no trains tomorrow, nor will there be next Wednesday, so some would have difficulty getting there, and home again afterwards.
Spungle: I'm not 'a scounger' but even this life-long Tory would be happy to protest against these callous and incompetent Xuckers.
Question Author
Getting their excuses in early for them eh?
Can’t say I blame them, it’ll be like watching a train crash in slow motion.
Question Author
They don’t like going anywhere north of Watford Gap it seems?
