It doesn't sound as though it will be out of action for long. If Ukraine had hit it I would have hoped they'd have done a better job.

For Ukraine to attack the bridge openly would be an attack against 'real' Russia, I don't think at this stage they would want to be see by the world to do that.
I think most probably a timed bomb was placed on the train by a Ukrainian saboteur working in Russia or Georgia - from where did the train journey originate, do we know?

it COULD be Ukraine, because the crap job means no use in the immediate period but easy to repair at leisure ( in times of peace)

Hardly real Russia. What's been damaged is the link between real Russia and occupied Ukraine; and which is used to move military into the occupied zone. A very legitimate target.

The Kerch Bridge has been a target for some time so we can ask - why now or even what now? - advance against Crimea? 3 men and a dog voted unanimously to be Russian but will that stop them

Exactly OG. It is a legitimate target which is why I'm sorry Ukraine didn't do a better job - if indeed they are responsible.

Was definitely an attack by Ukraine.
Possibly a bomb under the bridge but there is definitely an explosion on the bridge too

Ukraine has been attacking “real” and “pretend” Russia for months. Yesterday for example two Tu bombers were destroyed at the airbase in Kaluga oblast that’s been used for scores of attacks on Ukraine

I seen a report that the road bridge is knackered, but I don’t know how accurate that is

Russia announces that the bridge is closed until October 31.
They don’t say which year :-)

Not quite as simple as that, it's a complicated issue & it's been gone over many times on here, but I would say more like, 'a link between real Russia and a reoccupied Crimea'.
