Given the result of the Brexit vote, does she have a compelling case? I’d say she does but I guess it’s for the Supreme Court to decide? I wouldn’t like to see a break-up of the Union but it’s undeniable that Brexit has had a bearing on the whole debate.
Can’t help but feel the more Truss ignores her, the more Sturgeon can play on that attitude with the undecided.

I have tried (unsuccessfully) to be always reasonable and courteous, but it's hard. Everyone who insults you is lacking a reasoned argument and can only try to beat you by trying to get a bigger insult than you can muster. But you shouldn't respond in the same way. I learned in the playground that might is not right, and that name-calling is not proof of troof.
Giving a bit back(within reason) occasionally isn’t a bad thing, it’s never as low as their level so it’s all good.
As you say it’s generally as a result of them having no reasoned argument, generally lacking in factual content anyway that they can’t deal with, hence they resort to it.
Never mind, they just need to try harder but thanks for the sentiments.

Atheist: I always admire how you remain calm and rational in the face of some aggressive provocation.
I do not have the patience.
The same to Fatticus.
I never managed to keep the high ground. I always sank to their level.
Use the intellect, not the emotion. Use the argument, not the insult. Use the truth, not the lies.
Please keep up the good work.

Atheist types out
'It fascinates me that so many ABers hate Ms Sturgeon. Why do they?'
So I ask
'Did it fascinate you why so many ABers hated on Farage?'
So clearly I was addressing Atheist. Yet Fatticus answers for Atheist.
?????
Quite amusing on a thread that Fatti is accusing others (again) of having multiple ID's

//Leaving the sub-plot out of it - which we all should, it derails threads and gets them closed - I wonder what Ms Sturgeon's arguments are for Scotland's ability to support its economy independently of the rest of the UK.
Does anyone know her answer to that obvious question?//
Thank you Andy Hughes!
Must confess I don’t, hence my questions?
If she was successful in her quest I’d guess that they’d almost instantly look to rejoin the single market?
Do the gas/oil fields belong to Scotland per se? If they do I’d guess that’s a huge part of their economy?

Lol, so why did you mention Farage on a Sturgeon/Independence thread?
More diversionary tactics away from the issue?

/I'm almost sure that Farage was also after independence or summat...or did I dream that?/
But that’s already done, we’re out of the single market.
The topic is Sturgeon and her agenda, isn’t it?
