I think gully may be right here TTT, looking at the polls & bearing in mind that outside the metropolitan bubble, Sunak is not at all popular with the general public, the crunch will come at the council elections in England in May next year. It is very likely then that the Conservatives will experience a wipeout on the scale of 1996, when they lost more than 500 seats. Tory MPs will then panic and realise they will have to change their leader (again) if they are to have any chance of winning in the general election that will be upon them less than two years hence.
Who will they turn to? yes -- Hasta la vista, baby!

// you are doing godwins' law to death here //
Barely into this thread and you cite godwin's. You'll have to adduce more evidence than the 3 posts I've submitted, if you want that little theory to stand up!
Blair was often and quite rightly, labelled a 'Champagne Socialist'. Inspite of your constant denials, it seems conclusive, the words Blair and Socialist are synonymous. It is futile to attempt to refute this, since it flies in the face of generally accepted public opinion.
