There’s already talk of increased taxes across the board which I’d assume will be at local level having cuts made to them
Your thoughts?

the born overseas figure is extremely misleading... it would include people born to servicepeople serving overseas and also to the children of British families working abroad at the time of their birth... i have several relatives who were born in the states... it is not uncommon - i think boris johnson was born there
it does not bother me frankly.

//i think it's fairly obvious why people choose to classify these illegal immigrants as invaders togo...//
That is not an answer to any question that I have asked! How many servicemen and women do we have stationed abroad do you think? Then ask yourself how many of them (men, women or other) become pregnant? Another disingenuous point made by you to hide a damaging reality.

My thoughts are that we ought not be forking out for hotels, luxury ones at that, for illegals that can enjoy the stay at our expense, or abscond and dissappear into the country as they choose. There needs to be camps to cope with the invasion and rapid processing to get them back out when found not to have any case; as will be so for the vast majority. Ideally they could then be presented with the bill for having to return them or move them on, but I suspect that would end up just being symbolic.
around 10% of army personnel live abroad with their families (or did at the time of this publication):

obviously any children born in such circumstances would be part of your figure.
around 8% of British people living abroad (a number which is in several millions though I cannot presently find a total) are under the age of 15... a fair number of them it is reasonable to assume are born abroad... they would also be included in your "born overseas" figure if they returned to the UK. It is more common than you obviously think it is.

and those figures exclude British people living in ireland by the way which is doubtless even higher.... a british person born in ireland and returnign to the UK would however count as being born overseas
so no, togo, take your scaremongering stats and shove them. The reality is more complicated than your stupid alarmism would suggest.

The current population of England and Wales is 70 million. This means that 11.7 million of that population was not born in Wales or England.
The current population of Wales is 3.22 million and the current population of Eire is 5.1 million. Your devious attempt to hide the shocking facts by trying to underplay them with false explanations is the very definition of posting misinformation. We used to call it something else but that is now considered to be hate speech by the social engineers and manipulative "news" outlets.

// As far as I know the arrivals are overwhelmingly young men. //
Nevertheless, they are still entitled to the treatment by fair and due processes under the auspices of British border control.
Granted, the scale of migrants into the country presently, is unprecedented! So much so, the authorities are to provide a 'bespoke route' for Albanian men. This is to expedite their claims and a final decision can be made much more rapidly.
Clearly many who live on these shores are at their wits end with current levels of immigration.
For example, I too, feel disillusionment when a Judge hands down a seemingly lame sentence. It give the impression of letting the perpetrator off the hook.
However I'd much sooner live in a country which adheres to legislature processes, even if it means occasionally a Judge seems to have misread the gravity of a crime, than live in a country without. After all, there is always the route of Appeal that can be explored.
Likewise we shouldn't be blaming Albanian men for turning up on our golden sands. Our frustration and protests need be aimed at those in govt. To reiterate, 'invasion' is inappropriate terminology in these circumstances!
