Well he did earn £509m, so good on him and thanks for making my bill seem like peanuts!

And if he wants to employ staff then good on him too. He will be paying more tax the IR in the form of EHI no doubt.

Despite the £300m paid in tax, I have little doubt there’ll be those of a Guardian disposition nasally whining that nobody needs £200m and that he should pay more!
I have no problem at all with people who do pay their tax.
One doesn't "make" money from winning bets, but one extracts it from others who lost.

This applies to the stock market too. This guy won't have "made" £509M, he found ways to extract it from society. It's extracted from everyone else.

Most of us actually contribute more than they receive as they do their job. Certain occupations allow one to avoid that and project the fantasy belief that those involved "deserve" it.

tax the rich why does he need one hundren million pounds a year tax him a bit more lol why not 90 percent tax on earnings over two hundred and fifty million lol
