Rishi Sunak
Our prime minister is clearly out of touch with reality – he said at the CBI conference in Birmingham:-
"I know that Brexit can deliver and is already delivering enormous benefits and opportunities for the country.’
Unless he is referring to the benefit of discharging industrial quantities of raw sewage into our rivers and coastal waters – he is very much deluded.
Having a prime minister who does not have a clue what he is doing would be a laughing matter, but for the potential serious damage he could inflict on the country with his policies.
Perhaps he should have a word with Lord Deben to put him straight.

I did not get my information from the Bank of England. I provided two links to some very comprehensive reports which examined a whole range of factors both during the UK's membership of the EU and since Brexit - as you may have realised had you read them. I don't react to soundbites.
//What have you changed from , to ?//
Sorry Baz. This stems from what became almost a private joke between Zacs and me during the interminable threads that followed the referendum. I think (I really can't remember exactly) I said once (half in jest) that one of the best things would be we could keep "proper" lightbulbs. Zacs jumped on this and there followed a very lengthy exchange (which, as you can see, still hasn't finished).
To answer your question, I stocked up with as many tungsten lightbulbs as I could prior to their being banned, but most of them ran out and I changed over to a mixture of replacement types, including halogen, CFL and LED. I still have a few tungsten lights left, but I've gone over almost entirely to LED now. Never one to deny progress !!! :-)

So what you are telling me is that The Bank of England officials giving evidence to the parliamentary committee were misleading that committee, by telling them what a disaster Brexit is for the UK economy.
By the way, those Bank of England officials giving evidence included the Governor of the BoE Andrew Bailey.

Hymie; you seem oblivious to the fact that there is a vociferous anti - Brexit campaign going on, funded by a small group of self-interested people, & sections of the NSM, with odious individuals like Gina Miller acting as a mouthpiece for, & funded by, George Soros & some CBI members.
Not only are you oblivious of it, you are continually duped by it.
Do tell us how you are personally suffering because of Brexit.

gulliver: //Khandro @ 09.55 "We will take back control of our own Borders"..... Think about it.//
Britain DOES have control of its borders; no-one comes in via the proper methods without the acceptance of the authorities. The can only enter as bona fide tourists, students or with visas.
Previously any member of the EU was legally allowed entry.
The illegals washing up on British shores in rubber boats & claiming asylum have nothing whatsoever to do with Brexit. They must be stopped, we all know that, but it is proving to be a difficult task & not helped by the ECHR which Britain MUST detach itself from completely.

Whilst you are waiting for the Brexiteers to list those already delivered enormous Brexit benefits, you might like to watch this video which references data from the Office for Budget Responsibility, the Office for National Statistics and other organisations, pointing out what an absolute disaster Brexit is for the UK.
It’s also worth watching for the lies told by our MPs supporting Brexit.
Of course, it’s present by the BBC and therefore according to the Brexiteers it can be ignored.
As I have already said, stupid people and Breixteers don’t change their views to fit the facts, they change the facts to fit their views.
