gg, half price plus bed and breakfast :-)
and a seat in the Lords :)
When Max Headroom decides to call it a day(will anyone notice) he has guaranteed employment speaking to the insomniacs all over the World. He will soon get the suffering and restless souls asleep.
//Does he do surgeries to help his constituents?//

And why wouldnt he, did you actually read the article? He was paid 750K for three speeches in the US and 276K for one in October, he is clearly not 'treading the boards' nightly.

As for those slating his speeches have any of you actually ever been to dinner with a speaker afterwards? I strongly suspect Mr Johnson is an excellent speaker.

And PS, I have never heard one mention politics or religion they tend to talk about things relevant to the 'do'.
I don't object to him doing speeches etc as long as he is carrying out his duties as a MP. Has anyone seen him in parliament recently?
12.47....Snackrite,,"he's not flogging tickets to the local village hall! He's talking to businesses and other organisations" ...Let's hope they ignore his advice then, just look what happened when the Electorate took his advice over Brexit and voted the idiot in as PM, letting him plunge the Country into it's biggest financial crisis in 40 years.
^^^ Another one who has clearly never been invited to a dinner and speech. Cant say I'm surprised though they usually use words of more than two syllables.
YMB, ignorance is bliss. ;o)
the rewards of failure.
Haha! That you should fail so well, Jno. :o)
I imagine he would be quite funny. Certainly would give him a place at my dinner table.
he hasn't failed well, only profitably. As perseverer asks: hasn't he still got another job to attend to?
And has been pointed out he is not spending much time doing it.

£1M for 4 speeches.

Bet your just jealous jno, doubt anyone would pay 1p to listen to you.
they have done so on occasion, ymb. But I've sat through my share of threads moaning about the money Blair makes - only he left office of his own accord, not thrown out by his own colleagues.
Jno, he’s clearly ‘failed’ very well indeed but sour grapes are still the order of the day. It’s quite funny really.
good to see AB's rightwingers getting in their usual personal digs at people who disagree with them.
Who’s getting personal digs in - and where are they digging?

Lol he certainly failed at being a faithful husband.
Do those that book him for after dinner speaking ever wonder about his scruples or question him about the Brexit? What happened to that 350 million a week that the bus said we were paying? Wouldn’t that fund the nurses wage rise? I see on Twitter that his JCB mate is still paying three and a half grand a week for his accommodation? Imagine shelling out that amount of coin to a sponger.
JNO @ 13.44 Have you noticed it's always the same members of 5C who throw their pacifiers out of the pram when they are loosing the argument.
