TORATORATORA, "Where is the "Palestinian" land? It's been Israel since about 1000BC ...

I looked at the link you gave and it states, "The United Monarchy (Hebrew: הַמַּמְלָכָה הַמְּאֻחֶדֶת) in the Hebrew Bible refers to Israel and Judah under the reigns of Saul, David, and Solomon.[7][8][9] It is traditionally dated to have lasted between c. 1047 BCE and c. 930 BCE"
That works out to be a period of 117 year which is more than a wee bit shorter than the the thousand year you claimed

sorry, naomi, I missed your earlier post. The Bible says the Lord told Abraham his people could have the Holy Land. In general it was Yahweh (Jehovah), the Judean god, who talked to people that way; Elohim, the Israelite god, was more remote: he created the universe, Yahweh created man and other beasties, and their creation stories run side by side in Genesis.
The two states merged and so did their gods, but not till after Abraham's time. So it sounds more likely to me that it was Jehovah.
