Covid may have nothing much to do with it - correlation and causation!
If I have the injection one day and die that evening there will be folk who blame the jab/jag immediately. But I may have died of something totally unconnected to the vaccine.

I am trying to wade my way through some of the info and stats linked in this article. Thought provoking..
WARNING... It is a long read and not for the short of comprehension.

One point is though Bobbin ... when covid was raging through the world population it was recognised by medical specialists and advisors that it was killing the older members of the populations who already had comorbidities and particularly cardiovascular illnesses. Presumably a lot of those poor people were amongst the ones who were fatally affected leaving a statistically healthier, or at least less prone to heart and cardio problems, and therefor we should have seen a reduction in death rates for at least a short period. We haven't, we are instead seeing an increase being reported World wide. The short term conclusion ( not mine I might add ... yet) must be that either covid was not responsible for the first spate of deaths or the treatment for covid is responsible for the second wave of excess deaths.
pixie... i bet covid deaths have fallen by alot more than artery disease deaths so if roys inferring that vaccinations have had a negative impact then even if they have contributed the benefits of the vacc's clearly outweigh the possible effects of the vaccine on arteries.
But anyways the medical explanations are given in the article, although those who suspect the vaccine as being the cause of anything bad will not trust the scientists
//Dr Amanda Buttery, the Heart Foundation’s clinical evidence manager, said there had been a reassuring surge in 2022 in the number of Australians getting heart checks, following marked decreases through lockdowns and the first Omicron wave.
November 2022 saw a record number of heart health checks claimed.
However, Buttery said the foundation remained quite concerned about mounting international evidence of a connection between long COVID and cardiovascular //

I may have missed something, bobbin- but I had no idea this post was anything to do with covid vaccinations.
Although, fwiw, I have personally, seen far more people suffer badly- because of covid and vaccinations, than actually from it. Not a scientist, just observation.
Not everything is about "numbers" anyway- if a vaccination saves 100 people and you are the one that dies... that would be fairly annoying? Particularly, when people pretended it was selfish, perfectly safe, and essential...

Not for those that died... I don't get your point, bobbin... surely common sense tells you, that if millions of people get a vaccine, powerful enough to engage their immune system, that it will also have the potential to be devastating to some.
I genuinely don't understand why you have always refused to see that it won't suit everybody and was never going to be 100% safe.

Although, we did have some good news, ourselves, roy.
A 92 year old man with 3x a year angina- after the first vax, started getting 45 minute attacks 3/4 times a week within days. He refused the second vax and any others, but of course, it could have been down to his age and just a natural progression... but now, 2 years later- the angina attacks have gone back to "normal for him"... it took about 5 months before they slowed again though.
