UK excess deaths *is* in the MSM (I've read about it in The Graun and The Times and The Indie) - and was discussed at length on Sky News the other day - but possibly not on the soundbite TV headlines - I don't see those.
For some interesting analysis (caution - includes proper number crunching), try reading this :

There are many reasons for the excess (for example - abnormal heat last summer, the omnishambles of NHS care, people emerging from lockdowns with reduced immune systems, Covid itself, and yes - even some vaccination related causes) - but using these stats to promote a distrust of Covid vaccinations would be dangerously naive. I do hope that's not what is intended here?

Nope - question away - but don't use random scary numbers to promote your arguments.
FWIW (not much) I accept entirely that Covid vaccines have side effects and kill (a very few) people - and people should understand that there's no free lunch here.
But they should also be told that Covid vaccines have saved millions of lives, that the risks are tiny in proportion to the benefits, that without vaccines the world would be a much darker and emptier place and that vaccination could save their life too.
It's easy, now that we are living with a milder and less deadly version of Covid, to forget the appalling prospect that the world faced in 2020 - vaccines (and other measures) got us out of that hole - historical revisionism that "it was never that bad" is unhelpful at best and dangerous at worst.

Being 'Factual' means giving not just the number, but the context and explanation - if you do that it's fine ... if you don't it's not.
I've given you my take on the excess numbers and on the efficacy of vaccines versus their dangers - what about you do the same?

"Have vaccines saved many more lives than the number of people they have killed or seriously harmed?"
I don't know.
So many lies about the powers of the vaccine were told by the powers that be that it is difficult to trust them.
Here's a question for you.

Yes - I believe that they have - looking at death and hospitalisation rates pre and post the start of vaccination. But if you provide me with hard evidence of huge numbers of excess deaths caused by vaccination in young people, rather than just waving around numbers that don't even prove correlation (let alone causation), then I'll reconsider.
It's a more difficult choice now as to whether to have a vaccine if you are young and fit - Covid is less deadly and immunity from past infection does a decent job too - but back in 2020/2021 I'd have taken the (tiny) risk.
