At Last
Statement from the head of the German parliamentary defence select committee Marie Agnes Strack-Zimmermannn:
“The decision to release and deliver the Leopard 2 was a tough one, but inescapable. It is redeeming news for the battered and brave Ukraine. We Free Democrats are grateful that continuous commitment to the people of #Ukraine is successful.”
Sky News also reports that the US is to send its M1 Abrams tanks.
And there are other very significant signs.
Whatever next?

"Continuous commitment? Kicking and screaming comes to mind ;o)
Anyway. They're sending them. They'd have looked pretty silly if Poland had got there first.
I just hope the Abrams aren't too compromised by the fuel and maintenance issues.
