Looks like our Tommy has got himself a new cause. As immigration and Mr Yaxley Lennon seem to be popular threads, this should blow some peoples minds:

Sparkly - I watched your link - it showed Stacey Dooley being abused and preached at by an extremist Muslim.

When t finished, it rolled on to 'Tommy Robinson' addressing the Oxford Union.

Did you mean for AB'ers to watch both, or one, or the other?
gness, //Dear god, Naomi I know you go though life wearing blinkers//

You don't know me at all but, hard as it may be, you do need to understand that some people disagree with you.
Oh, and by the way, gness, I don't set traps. Told you you don't know me. ;o)
gness - // I admire the man who spoke against grooming gangs yet almost caused the collapse of a grooming gang trial. Don't really know what to say to someone who posts that. //

That's not what naomi said.

She has never stated or inferred that she admired or supported 'Robinson's actions in almost getting a legal trial stopped - merely that she supported 'Robinson's' actions in drawing attention to grooming gangs.

I think we would all support that - but nothing else he does or says.
^Thank you for that. At least someone read what I said.
If everyone agreed with me, Naomi I wouldn't be unique. Disagreeing is fine. :-)

Admiring anything about Robinson is just weird.
It's not about you though, gness.

Sensible conversation seems to have suddenly departed this thread. I'll come back when there's something more interesting to read.
Gness - // Disagreeing is fine. :-) //

Absolutely - as long as you are disagreeing with something that has actually been said.

I don't think admiring 'Tommy Robinson' for his efforts to expose Muslim grooming gangs is 'weird' at all - anything that exposes such appalling abuse is to be admired - even if it is a by-product of ongoing racial hatred and agitation.

As I have said, sometimes good things are the byproduct of bad things, but that does not make the good things any less appreciated.
You'll not know if new posts are interesting unless you read them in the first place...
:-))
I know whose posts interest me, Corby.
Even then, you need to open the thread and read it to see who's posted.
the grooming gangs scandal was already exposed when robinson found it... his contribution was to use that horrific scandal as a political weapon against all muslims regardless of their involvement... if he had actually cared he would not have put the trial at risk

he is probably the best modern-day example of the old far-right... but it's not him that's dangerous... the ones that are dangerous are the ones that smuggle in eugenicist and exterminationist ideas and dress them up in nice suits and polite language and all the trappings of "decency" with none of its humanity...

do those things and it is astonishing how many people will fall for the same old ideas! the sort of person who will be flawlessly polite to someone on tuesday and vote to take away their basic rights on thursday

i would say he is a very useful distraction for the modern far-right which have long ditched his methods and style... he would have been better off keeping his double-barrelled surname and talking in estuary english... if he'd done that and changed nothing else he'd be much more successful

Using the word admire in any association with Lennon is strange and slightly perverse. He played no part in exposing the grooming gangs as there already were ongoing investigations and criminal proceedings which he almost jeapordise.
*jeopardized
I admire Tommy, says it like it is.
Sparkly; Unless he's lost for words; then he head butts like it is. I hope you don't admire that.
PIGGY, why are you pointing out spelling mistakes?
Untitled\the grooming gangs scandal was already exposed when robinson found it... his contribution was to use that horrific scandal as a political weapon against all muslims regardless of their involvement... if he had actually cared he would not have put the trial at risk\

Absolutely! This is exactly what happened!!
Zacs-Master\slightly perverse\

LOL Can you actually be guilty of being slightly perverse? That is like a woman saying she's slightly pregnant LOL
