For the umpteenth time, YNNAFYMMI, any SNP voters who voted for Brexit made no difference to whether the UK left the EU or no. Constant repetition to the contrary will not change that fact.

Just a point of clarification. The European Social Fund was itself funded by the five net contributors to the EU budget (of which the UK was the second largest). The funds thus provided were then redistributed (after a deduction for “administrative costs” – which included £100m a year for the European Parliament to move from Brussels to Strasbourg once a month) to be spent as directed by the EU. All that has happened now is that the UK government has taken control of that expenditure and it will be spent as directed by them.

Not down the Brexit per se. Down to your politicians opting not to cover all that used to get our money via the EU. One assumes that recent world events has persuaded the government to change their intended budget decisions.
