Something dodgy here. The tanker owners agreed to pay £17.6 million to the Norwegian government as aresult of the collision, but the Captain of the frigate is found guilty of negligence? It would be interesting to read the minutes of the inquiry on this.

No deaths. Minor injuries. Worst things happen at sea as they say. Our own king managed to prang HMS Bonnington a mine sweeper whilst docking and he had the con. Of course no court of enquiry followed same as he pranged a BAE 125 n of the Queens Flight when landing,at the controls,’on a Scottish Isle.
