Racism works both ways, this sort of thing has to stop if we are to be one people. And how black do you need to be before being made unwelcome?

I have a couple of black friends(one in particular) who really take offence at people taking offence or being right-on on behalf of them or defending the indefensible like this.

True they are Conservatives though and have fought hard to be where they are so I wouldn't expect you to understand.

Just checked and the white population of Newham, where the theatre in question stands, is about 30%, so they’re certainly in the minority there.

There was a guest on the radio earlier - not a caller, an invited guest - who said he had bought quite a few tickets, such was his outrage at the blatant and undeniable racism, so it will be interesting to see if he’s as good as his word.
