That amazes me too - although coming from a committee of which some members, including the Chair, had deemed Boris guilty before that Committee sat in judgement of him, it shouldn't. I would like to know exactly what that letter says.

I expect the draft Privileges Committee report that Boris read, made it abundantly clear that he lied to parliament – only Boris would conclude from that, that it was the proceedings that they were using to force him out of parliament – and not the fact that he lied.

Johnson was fined for lying about a gathering at a party. He admitted it by paying the fine. He's a liar. Resignation and suicide would much be appreciated.

What has become clear on this post is how many supporters Boris had on AnswerBank before now. Every time I posted about Boris I was shouted down and insulted by the majority of posters.
But now all of a sudden Boris is the Biggest Rissole ever to Abers.
