Oh Dear
If things weren’t bad enough for Brexiteers – day 2 of the Covid pandemic hearing heard evidence that the government’s response to the Covid pandemic was hindered due to Brexit.
Is there no aspect of UK living that has not been negatively impacted by the disaster that Brexit is?

I’ll be reminding them of their objections to me pointing out how useless/corrupt/incompetent the democratically elected Tories were.

//...the UK was unique in having Brexit, which hindered the UK government’s response to the Pandemic.//
Could you explain how Brexit hindered the UK's response?
My opinion of the government's handling of the pandemic is that, apart from the vaccine rollout (which most definitely have been hindered had we still been EU members), it was an absolute shambles. But that was because of government and civil service ineptitude and nothing to do with Brexit.

//As a Brexiteer, perhaps you should write to the Covid pandemic inquiry and point out that they are wrong about Brexit hampering the UK government’s Covid response.//
I didn't say they are wrong. I don't know whether they are right or wrong because I haven't been following the Covid enquiry. You've obviously been following the enquiry and I haven't so I asked if you could explain how the enquiry came to its conclusion.
The reason I cannot understand why Brexit hindered the government's handling of the pandemic is that, as far as I am aware, all countries (whether EU members or not) decided on their own approach. So perhaps you can help me out by explaining how our non-membership of the EU placed us at a disadvantage. I also cannot understand it as there are about eight times as many countries which are not in the EU as there are in it and I didn't hear of any of them suggesting they were disadvantaged by not being EU members.

as youve previously stated NJ...its like taking candy from a baby (two babies including his little friend)
trying to discuss anything with either of them is like an atheist trying to discuss religion with a believer...an exercise in futility as theyll just stare and keep quoting the same mantra and twisting everything to suit their delusional standpoint
