Very true Ken. Yet she once said the highlight of her acting career was appearing on the Morecambe & Wise show. This remark, and her performance on that show parodying her own acting, show what a wonderful person she was. She will be much missed.
Marvellous actor. Supported Labour and played a male Shakespearian role, and still loved as a national treasure, despite doing all the "wrong" things. (Wrong in the right-wing AB sense).
Bless you, Glenda.
A wonderful actor, yes definitely R.I.P.. I believe her very last film, with Michel Caine playing a D-Day veteran who escapes from his care home to revisit Normandy, is yet to come out. I shall look forward to it.
also wrong in the Labour sense, Atheist - she might well have gone a lot further in politics if she hadn't forthrightly opposed the Iraq war, but she stuck to her principles.
Hi olds
yes agree - she was worth a cinema ticket - I liked a touch of class
women in love - ken russell. Gorgeous cozzies - the brightest and best supplied by russells wife who was a collector ( obv c taste).
