Meanwhile Russia says it is withdrawing from the "grain deal", but when it comes down to it, its only commitment in this is not to attack merchant vessels. In theory yhey either start committing piracy on top of their other war crimes, or they sit and watch the ships leaving port anyway

But don't forget folks, this was only due to a 'special military operation'. Sadly, two people have died on the Russian Kerch Bridge attack, which is an appalling 'act of terrorism'.
Unfortunately, this is how the vast majority of Russians will see it.

As for Russian military casualties the BBC has done an amazing job identifying 25,000 dead, their identities and places of burial. But that’s the tip of the iceberg. The vast majority of bodies are still rotting in Ukraine.
As for outrage over two civilian dead on the bridge I can’t see that changing much. Russia is all outrage as it is. And most people have stopped listening to them or caring.
There is an argument for leaving the railway intact as it would facilitate the eventual repatriation of illegal Russian residents. As it is though the rail line appears to be damaged. How bad remains to be seen
