iwhat a tragedy that could have been avoided, why is a 14yr old riding a motorcycle, and out on bail, the family must be devastated, the boy has to live with this forever accident or otherwise.

Barsel, it's a tragedy of course, i know that truly, and in no way meant
to alter my post, but... training on bikes is important! as kids will ride
bike regardless as iv said, as for me and barry, well in no way was it meant as fun on a serious post, as i said i would stop the person breathing if it my child or grandaughter.
Yes, and I agreed with you.
I think the two of you just got carried away.
I'd like to know how these underage kids get these bikes - if the parents know they are out riding them they should also be punished for aiding and abetting.

Just last week on my neighbourhood watch group a young man had posted photos of his stolen motorbike being ridden down a main road by what looked like two underage kids with no helmets. They had been filmed by a friend and put the video on TikTok. Total disregard for the law and their own safety. (The owner was asking for help to identify the riders who may or may not have been the thieves).
Barry, it's like everything else these days.
You can get bikes, cars, drugs, knives, even guns.
No problem if you know the right people.

they are dangerous in the wrong hands, lethal infact for riders and pedestrians, no helmet erm bad idea, i did try it once at the salt flats utah on business again, on an indian darkhorse..
These underage kids must have too much pocket money. A motorbike isn't something you can sneak in to the house and hide under the bed -the parents must know.

We didn't have to wear helmets until 1973. I usually did.

Question Author
barry1010, different time, but i wore a helmet as saw m8's come off and erm it did not end well, as i say training, they are great things motorcycles, id say at least sit on the back as a passenger, dont just dismiss them as death on two wheels, crikey they are not, be a passenger on a trained rider, you will think wow.
Question Author
and by the way i am a certified rider and trainer in my dotage..
Yes,no problem. The 14 year old will get a slap on the wrist and told not to kill any more youngsters until the next time.Meanwhile a wee girl will be lying in her grave while this little chav is out living the high life, not giving a damn about the life he just took.Angry, aye,im angry.
Question Author
ynnafymmi, of course..but we don't know how the 14yr old is feeling
does not make it right of course, but what a thing to live with and the parents, were assuming they are chav idiots, in the end he lives with it as do the parents, if they don't care we assume...im not religious but
wow be your house.
