What happens to Wagner group now?
Since he started a mutiny then wimped out, couldn't really expect any different. Took the crew and rest of the passengers too though. They really are a scumball lot over at the Kremlin, aren't they. Unfit to be on the same planet with decent human beings.
There are always someone to step into the breech with power groups.
Perhaps he became suicidal but didn't feel like doing it himself. Annoy Putin and then just wait a while. Same outcome.

Full security alert in the Kremlin tonight as Wagner elements plot revenge.
This seems like an expected possible turn of events.
are there sufficient underlings who can form plots, ichkeria? Wagner seemed like a one-man band to me, but I could very easily be wrong.

landF give it a rest with your inexplicable nonsense, this is not the thread for it. Why do you always make it about you?

“are there sufficient underlings who can form plots. Wagner seemed like a one-man band“

Definitely not a one man band: Although three at least of the band leaders were in that plane: the thing is: although Prigozhin probably seriously overestimated his support, Wagner as a group is bound to have elements who are seriously unhappy about todays events. And there’ll be deposed generals and military men who for one reason or another are unhappy about the war.
Doesn’t necessarily mean it’ll come to anything but the Kremlin is evidently concerned.
Today was also notable for the destruction of an S400 battery in Crimea, which may herald a Ukrainian attack on Crimea very soon, plus the extraordinary tale of the crew of a Russian M-1 helicopter which apparently flew hundreds of miles to land in Poltava, central Ukraine, to surrender. A helicopter which was carrying lots of much needed spare parts for aircraft.
Very strange

None are on topic as far as I can see.
Consider this my last word on the matter.

“the extraordinary tale of the crew of a Russian M-1 helicopter which apparently flew hundreds of miles to land in Poltava”

This was the defection of the pilot of the Mi-8, planned over months. It landed in Kharkiv, which makes more sense. The pilot, whose family had already been rescued from Russia, eliminated his unsuspecting crew members en route.
I think it’s a bit naive to say this means nothing for the war. It’s a clear signal from Putin (in a rather Game of Thrones way) that he can’t be ‘taken out’, not even by the most badass of badasses.
Expect further infighting in Russia among the Federal Security Service, Duma, presidential administration, security services, Kremlin-connected oligarchs, and other factions. “This struggle will escalate as the jockeying for Putin’s legacy proceeds to its inevitable end.” says Ariel Cohen.
