15 years or 1 day in the job as PM, whatever their colour as in ed, blue or maybe just yellow, and that's what they are entitled to - part of the balancing factor is that they need police protection for the rest of their lives. Therefore no sympathy here and, Gully, nothing like how your Russian God has lined his pockets.
As to the Sturgeons, £600k missing, an absolute disgrace and where are the Plod now? It's not that difficult to trace, surely.....
And Gully, 'Dis...Bloody... Gusting' - such language is not necessary here and rather unbecoming - or 'Dis...Gusting' - of you.
//...but I would like to ask our con members/ supporters on A B, how did she ever become PM ?//
She did so because she was elected as leader of the Conservative Party under their rules. Since the Conservative Party commanded a large majority in the House of Commons, she thus became PM.
This country needs to move away from the regulatory, Big State, high tax high spend, risk-averse mindset that prevails in all the major parties. Ms Truss made an attempt to get the country moving in that direction. Her attempt was a little clumsy but was principally thwared by the financial institutions. Many of them - particularly pension schemes - were exposed because they used a flawed financial model that relied on no volatility in the gilt markets. Change often brings volatility and their models should be robust enough to weather it.
A better question might be how did Mr Sunak ever become PM? The answer to that is that he was intalled under an emergency procedure which bypassed the party members. So if there is to be any criticism involving how a PM was elected it should be levelled to that of Mr Sunak, not Ms Truss.
