If they are then maybe next they will wake up to how imposing their demands against the will of member nations creates division and discontent, rather than one big happy family. It just takes the citizens to stop, as a whole, taking their government's word that all is great, to insist on getting out of the trap.

The latest influx of illegal economic migrants are Vietnamese who are arriving in Malta on route to the UK. For many years the Maltese ,on their small Island, have had to house and process so-called asylum seekers from Africa ( a mini Lampedusa) but now they have the Vietnamese to contend with. At least the police are confiscating the fake passports, imprisoning the illegals and then deporting them. I notice gulliver has kept quiet about this but tells us how rosy it is elsewhere other than the UK
