an israeli airstrike is confirmed to have hit an orthodox christian church where hundreds of palestinian christians were taking shelter including elderly people women and children... 16 fatalities are so far confirmed but clearing of the rubble has only just begun

collateral damage is a euphemism for "casualties we don't care about". it is a deceitful phrase.

Expecting a war not to have innocent civilian casualties is a bit naive. I've merely pointed out that this is what they are (assuming the reports aren't propaganda). It doesn't mean I'm not appalled by the flaring up of this ridiculous war and its consequences. I'm simply being realistic.

think carefully about what you are saying... do you truly believe that israel has the right to kill absolutely anyone in retaliation? even the sick, elderly, or children? that is much closer to the attitude of hamas than what i am saying
