The Royals, Does It Really Matter?
For Heavens sake - does it really matter if families discuss a future babies colour? Isnt it only natural? Find out who leaked the comments and have a go at them! How much did they get paid for the private info? Stop all the fuss - its very detrimentel to the Royals and all publicity to sell the books!

But I could be wrong of course.
And no, it would not be racist to wonder the colour of the skin or hair or eyes etc. I was at a baby reveal of a mixed race couple, they were openly discussing it. Everyone hoped for a nice olive skinned child - and that what happened, and very pretty she is too.
SP, Who said they 'raised concerns' though? And why would they? Those two had a wonderful wedding, Charles walked Meghan down the aisle, and the whole country celebrated. I don't think they had any 'concerns' of that nature. If they had they would have been addressed long before that happy day. This is mischief-making.

As with most stories about the RF we might never know. So much of what we see in the paper is PR fluff - but if the story is bogus it will be denied by the Palace. Not directly but with discrete briefings to the press.
I know I would've lost money on any bet as to who it was. I thought it'd be Camilla or Anne!
"I don't think they had any 'concerns' of that nature."
We literally cannot know that. There are members of your own famly who have secrets you don't know - guranteed.
How can anyone say "I don't think they had any 'concerns' of that nature."
You don't know them.
It's like saying "I bet Piers Morgan is terrible at board games".
"The royals denied racism when this was first mentioned."
They may well have - but we know that racism existed with the Palace with the ban on ethnic minority immigrants and foreigners from holding clerical positions at Buckingham Palace.
Who knows what attitudes are still in place there?
But as I say - who knows?
I heard someone say yesterday, can't remember who it was, that if Meghan Markle had white skin but came from the same background and done what she has done in her past life, they would not have been permitted to marry, (from our late Queen I expect) but because she was of mixed race, they knew that if they had not been given permission, then the RF would have been accused of being racist.
The King, or Princess of Wales, are unlikely to sue for these slanderous allegations,
they cant: its true
the only thing is breach of confidence - but the royals werent involved.
Scobie was being ( long word alert - da-da dee-dee da-da) disingenuous in suggesting it was a crime and needed the police involved -because in todays atmosphere that stifles discussion....no crime involved as far as I can see....
This child is a quarter black, so more white, if my daughter was with a person of a different colour, I'd look forward to seeing the colour of the child.
Oprah Winfrey sees racism in everything so can be safely ignored.
This is a non-story.
anneasquith at 12.45 shows she's a despicable, horrible detritus of a person.
