For Heavens sake - does it really matter if families discuss a future babies colour? Isnt it only natural? Find out who leaked the comments and have a go at them! How much did they get paid for the private info? Stop all the fuss - its very detrimentel to the Royals and all  publicity to sell the books!

Deskdiary and others are right; when a new baby is expected there is always, always discussion of what it will look like.  OK the colour of the skin is an added dimension, that's all - it really is.  My mum was a blue-eyed, scandinavian-colour blonde.  I'm like my dad, darker with green/hazel eyes, my sister echoes my mum.  So when I was expecting there was a LOT of speculation in the family.

A load of rubbish and a non-story - except that it is being bulled up for mischievous reasons.  It doesn't matter.

I welcomed Meghan M. - didn't really know that she was  partly black, thought she had Spanish heritage - but I now think of her as a very manipulative, wicked woman.

It matters no more than discussing what the baby's eye colour is, or their hair, but someone is determined to cause trouble by calling "Racism !". Everyone should give it a rest.

I wonder why anyone remotely connected to the Royal Family would give any interview to sensationalist journalists, it never ends well.  One would think that Meghan had some self-serving interest in doing so.  Oh hold on...

did anyone spoo my question wed 29 nov

and discuss really interesting things like who WAS the royal who asked about skin colour in THAT baby?

oh stop asking these questons ( 5 -2 - 2)

CHUCK IT IN

King chuck ( charles that is!) - old news

I care very little for the RF. Having said that I just hope that every child born is healthy.  Colour?  Couldn't care less if they are black, white, yellow or bumbee tartan.

Maggie, it doesn't matter whether you like the RF or not, I think it has more to do with them being accused of something they're not and it being splashed all over the newspapers and social media. I wouldn't like that to happen to me, and I'm sure the RF don't like it happening to them.

20.15. Lol. Report the post, though it is true or do we sweep everything under the carpet when it comes to the RF past discretions ?

Anne, do you mean indiscretions i.e. lack of judgment ?

Indiscretions Margo .

One could add (& why doesn't Megan?). Why does Harry have such red hair ?

Khandro, Why doesn't Meghan what?

Harry has apparently inherited his red hair from the Spencers.

Barsel, //Harry has apparently inherited his red hair from the Spencers//  🙄

Khandro, I did say apparently.😀

Yes, I've seen those pics before. Not sure we will ever know for certain.

Who cares?    Let's just let them write more books and keep digging themselves further into a hole, eventually the public here and in USA will be sick to the teeth of them, in fact we are now. And hopefully they will just Fade Away out of the public eye, apparently this what they wanted all the time ....  not.

Oh, that old chestnut.  Red hair is a recessive gene.  To have a child with red hair, both parents must carry that gene.  Princess Beatrice is red, her mother is red and thus Prince Andrew must also carry that gene.  If PA carries the gene, then his brother KCIII may also too.  If you compare pictures of the Duke of Sussex to his paternal grandfather when younger, the similarity to his grandfather is astonishing.

And as for this recent skirmish - Omid Scobie and the Duchess of Sussex (I think it was on here that I saw her referred to as the Duchess of Monteshitshow which made me howl with laughter) do not appear to have come out of this well.  OS has come across as a bit of a fibber (I mean, really, a dutch translater inserted those names?) and from where did he obtain those names?  I think this is a publicity drive, but I also think it is backfiring terribly.

Harry looks like his dad, Charles, (look at his eyes), and I think Diana didn't meet James Hewitt until much later than Harry's conception.
I might be wrong there, but red hair is in the Spencer family.

Clover, you are right.  There are red-heads in both families.  And you are right that Diana did not meet Hewitt until much later.

I've always thought he takes after the Spencers.  Diana's brother is a redhead.  Looking at khandro's pictures it's the first time I've noticed that he has a ski slope nose - just like Hewitt's.
