Perhaps we should ask Germany if they will reciprocate, and label their entire domestic foodstuff ‘Not for UK’, and see whether they’ll agree to our demands.

Are food standard regulations different now in the UK and the EU?

Food products produced in N Ireland, for example, can't be exported to the South because they haven't got the EU mark of approval.

I'm sure they'd pass with  flying colours if they were tested.

Once UK citizens start seeing domestic foodstuffs labelled ‘Not for EU’, many will think that it does not meet minimum EU standards, and is of inferior quality (which will not necessarily be the case) – undoubtedly impacting sales.
