The Farage Effect Part Two.
Nigel Farage has predicted that Labour will get elected,at the GE and hold on to power for at least the next ten years. Because the anger at the present Conservative Govt is so widespread. He also quotes Sunak.. who said "if you vote for anyone other than Tory you will get Labour"Here's the truth says Nigel..."We're going to get Labour anyway"
......I am starting to warm towards Farage.....

Tories out of power means so he thinks a rebirth of that party in his image. Farage hates Parliament and party politics with all the fervour of a spurned lover.
Just about everyone is predicting a Labour victory. It would be bizarre indeed if NF was any different
Being an anti E U person since it was created I thank N F for his efforts to get us out. Problem for me is that he has remained neither one thing or t'other. He and many others would suggest he is conservative and I think he is. But he's on a good thing as he does not seem inclined to go to the polls himself and he can find fault with both parties and I M O, that's easy to do at the moment because most of us can't see owt to recommend either of 'em to the electorate. The tories have squandered thier majority . The "small boats invasion" will be thier downfall. Imagine Mrs Thatcher being in charge at the moment. There would be NO problem IMO. Bu whats happened to the "spell checker" on here. I'm lost without it!!!!
// My question is.. why are you Cons so terrified of becoming the opposition party...You have been there before//
I can't speak for all Cons as I'm someone who's voted for Cons, Labour, New Labour, Libs and SDP at different GEs, but I voted Conservative last time so maybe I'm a Con in your eyes. I can assure you I'm not terrified of them becoming the opposition; I accept it's a strong possibility and also think it's good for democracy to have a change now and again. The Cons will no doubt regroup
