Some youtube channels falsely claim that blue passports are the only benefit, but those who read my posts on this topic will know there is a whole lot more.

Here is another to add to my list, which includes imperial signage distances in the Dartford Tunnel and champagne in pint bottles (plus many others).

Following Brexit, of the major networks only O2 has not introduced roaming charges.

See this link for the full list of pit-falls UK mobile phone users now face within Europe.

https://www.comparethemarket.com/mobile-phones/content/a-guide-to-data-roaming-charges/

Like I said, I didn't pay roaming charges

This in-fighting is fairly pathetic Hymie.  I've just posted a real example of why people wanted out of the EU and how disappointed they are that the Br. Govt. has not taken advantage  of it - but how they know that they would have no hope at all if we were to rejoin the EU ----- and you ignore it!

Question Author

It was always a complete lie that the UK would benefit from leaving the EU.

People like Farage claim Brexit failed because the UK failed to take advantage of it; but fail to explain what the UK should have done (and how it would lead to success).

Deliberately cutting yourself off from your nearest and largest trading bloc is bound to have a major negative impact on the country’s economy, as has proved to be the case.

If in 2016 I had said that a major Brexit benefit announced in 2024 would be that Shellfish beds were found in the Thames estuary, people would think I was mad.

But if people had a time-machine and knew that I was telling the truth, who would vote for Brexit?

......New Tory Party...."The Cockleshell Heroes"🤣

  //If in 2016 I had said...//

But it's 2024 now and we're out and not going back. You're clutching at straws and twisting things (referring to  a small claimed benefit and ignoring the actual benefits), desperate to prove you were right all along. It's a shame you don't have any constructive suggestions.

NMA 09.59.."Ignoring the actual benefits"    But Hymie has explained the actual benefits of Brexit on this thread ...@ 16.51 .It is well worth reading

Why do Brexiteers say ‘we're out and not going back’, when if we were to re-join we would enjoy all the benefits we have lost (by leaving) – don’t Brexiteers understand this, or are they happy for the additional estuary shellfish?

Hymie 10.35... Eventually these  Brexiteers will  wake up and smell the coffee. And go begging to the EU to have them back in..... The EU.....

//Why do Brexiteers say ‘we're out and not going back’, when if we were to re-join we would enjoy all the benefits we have lost (by leaving) ...//

I know you can't really be that naive, so why pretend you are? Did you mean to add 'but at significant additional cost'

"Why do Brexiteers say ‘we're out and not going back’, when if we were to re-join we would enjoy all the benefits we have lost (by leaving) – don’t Brexiteers understand this, "

Yes, they do understand this. But they also understand that as well as the advantages (of which there were one or two) we would also "enjoy" all the disadvantages of membership. In fact we would enjoy more of them because the conditions of our renewed membership would undoubtedly be worse.

People who voted in the referendum had to weigh up the two and more of those who voted came down on the side of leaving. But we've done this once or twice before, if I recall.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
