Tory Donor.
The Cons biggest donor has said that looking at Diane Abbott makes you want to hate all black women and is saying she should be shot. Frank Hester who has given the Tory party £10m ..is certainly supporting the Nasty Party then. What a nasty person . He definitely is a Tory supporter then.

i was interested in you point about Abbott's comments about nurses.
The source I have quotes her as saying:
"I am sure that these young women are charming. But they are basically here to improve their English and are unlikely to give the British health service a lifetime's commitment.''
Her comments were seized upon by the hospital, nursing unions, and politicians, who accused her of avoiding the real issue of staff shortages.
Ms Abbott later said: ``The issue is not one of colour - the issue is that people should not be recruited from overseas in an area of mass unemployment.''
However, nursing unions and the hospital - which has written a letter of complaint to Ms Abbott -were annoyed that she had written of her surprise that the hospital had chosen ``blonde, blue-eyed girls from Finland, instead of nurses from the Caribbean who know the language and understand British culture and institutions''.

//You 100% should be able to criticise Abbott (as you have here), but when you say she should be shot...//
I don't know about your whataboutism but there appears to be a few puttingwordsintoother'smouthisms. I most certainly did not suggest Abbot should be shot. Please show me where I have written that.

ive just checked the quote - and you're right. It was said in the present tense.
However - that's irrelevant. People can paint her as badly as they want to - but it doesn't excuse anyone saying she should be shot.
People who should be shot. Simply being a loudmouth, a race agitator or politically incompetent doesn't mean you should be shot.
If it did then Tommy Robinson, Katie Hopkins and Lawrence Fox would need round the clock protection.
> Do people see (say) Ant & Dec and feel a hatred for all Geordies?
A better example would be Jeremy Corbyn. A direct comparison. But there is no way on God's clean earth that Frank Hester would have said MP Jeremy Corbyn made him "want to hate all white men" and that he "should be shot". And that is why what he said was both racist and misogynistic.
It's just hyperbole said in private, which had a race and sex aspect to it, but was hardly racist or sexist. Indeed he reportedly said he didn't hate all black women, which is probably the reverse of sexism & racism.
That pointed out, it was a ruddy stupid thing to say, but I guess as a donor, rather than a public figure politician, he felt his private comments weren't relevant or likely to be picked up and debated.
Pretty much a storm in a teacup, made public and debated because of the imminent GE.
