Frank Hester's £10m donation to the Tories was like Manna from Heaven for Keir Starmer and The Labour Party.It couldn't have come into the news at a better time. Even though it had been kicked into the long grass for five years. Hester and Sunak thinking as they have said sorry thats it ,all over, all done and dusted.. Wrong! ...Tory poll ratings have slumped to lowest level for years and it looks like a long term downwards trend that Sunak and Cons won't be able to reverse.

The Tory poll rating is even lower than what it was when Liz Truss and her chancellor crashed the Economy.

 What the Tories will be thinking now is they have ..apologised , but that hasn't helped .Shall we try giving Hester the taxpayers money back that he gave to the us ,that we gave to him in the first place.

That's what I like about gulliver1, when he gets an answer to something he has got wrong on another thread he just starts a new one in stead of giving answer.  Like this his last one "Are The Cons Looking For Another Pm ?" and many others, never man enough to admit when he has got something wrong.  Expecting his usual sarky or juvenile reply.

But if the Cons are certain to be trounced anyway as you have been telling us for months there's little to be gained politically by returning the money, so maybe they are taking a longer term view so just want to bolster their war chest for 2029 when maybe most will realise things didn't get better under Labour after all.
