The front page of today's DM is about the problems in the Royal Family & Penny Mordaunt. There's nowt I can do about either of those.

It was the top story an hour ago, now it's further down the page but yes I saw it and it made me feel sick - not just the scene but the fact the we walk amongst some incredibly vile amoral humans. 

It's a bit of a cliche and rant comment but those responsible should be found and publicly whipped.

It does make me sick too.  We've had an outbreak of myxomatosis in and around our village last autumn/winter and it was horrible enough seeing the bodies lying around the verges and fields - even worse was the nearly dead ones sitting in the road and trying to crawl away to somewhere safe to die.

That's man-made too.  But to do this, kill wastefully and leave the 'litter' around, is another level below.

I don't know Prudie.  I have seen somewhere that some think it might be linked to travellers but in the link they used the p****s word.

Jourdain I saw that when I lived in the North Yorkshire Dales.  Poor things, I used to stop on the verge and let them go.  Very upsetting.

It makes no difference how lovely your neighbours are.  These people travel all over the country to do this.

Sounds the ideal act to spur authorities into action and get things sorted. All seems a bit far fetched though. Poachers bringing their illegal activities to attention ? International crime syndicates ? Weird !

I hope the DM reports on what actions are actually taken and when, to put a stop to this barbarity.  That's if any actions are taken of course.

Does anyone know if the Police have managed to catch anyone involved in this heartbreaking activity? I havent noticed any more about it.

I read they found a burnt out car thought to have been involved but that's about it.
