.... because, supported by the church, and despite being a convicted criminal, he claimed to have converted to Christianity.  Last night's BBC news showed his Islamic burial.

/./How many folk describing themselves as Christian could say what God created on the third day?//  Why the hell should they. They are not masquerading as Christia converts and hoodwinking Befrocked naive dogooders who have no business in affairs of state.

Jourdain, I'm sure you are safe from being struck down. I didn't know you played a church organ, I'm very impressed.

The thing that got me about the A of C was when Meghan Markle said they had already been married by him in the backyard several days previous to their wedding, and he didn't seem in any hurry to correct this and he just struck me as being a bit of a wimp.

I wonder who paid for his funeral?

Frip - In the overall scheme of things, does that really matter?

It may have been the state - fine.

Every day the government spends my hard-earned taxes on things that make my blood boil.

I live with it, because life is too short to do otherwise.

Yes it does matter, why should the tax payer be made to pay for his funeral, let the church who baptised him and helped him into the country pay.

Frip - That's not how the world works and I'm sure you know that as well as I do.

Andy, we know it does not work like that, but that's the point i'm trying to make, the church wanted him in so let them pay for his funeral, maybe then if all those wanting illegals to stay in our country had to cough up to keep them here it might make them think twice, got to go i want to watch michael portillo railway journeys on catch up.

Frip - We could spend the rest of our lives discussing the ways our money is spent that we judge to be incorrect.

But if you imagine that, even if it were possible, the church being held responsible for the cost of this funeral, would cause them to cease and desist from their egotistical nonsense, then I suggest you take a look at the lengths these people will go to, to make themselves feel smug and superior in the wee small hours.

You can't hold an organisation financially responsible because the indirect result of their manifestly stupid thinking caused financial outlay.

Where would you draw the line? Your local rail company compensating you because your train was late and you lost a day's pay?

Just because a circumstance ended in tragedy, and an emotive reaction, does not mean we get to change the rules to assuage our personal outrage.

I say again, that's not how it works.

He had an Islamic burial. His family/friends would have paid for it,

I can’t believe that someone would lie about converting to Christianity from Islam.  It just doesn’t seem credible to me.  I mean, it’s not as if Islam teaches its adherents to lie to unbelievers.  There’s hardly some kind of built-in mechanism in Islamic scripture that instructs muslims to lie in order to further a personal agenda or to facilitate the stated goals of Islam to establish a world-wide caliphate.  It’s not like concepts such as ‘Taqiyya’ or ‘Kitmān’ exist is it?  Sheesh! Some people will believe any old rubbish that Islamophobes spout…

^Sarcasm,Sven?

Sven has it.

How lovely to see Sven on here again.

Exactly, Sven. Good to have you back. I do try to explain the concepts you mentioned to others. I think our vicar is fairly wise to them.

naomi24, ladybirder & jourdain2 -

Thank you.  That’s very kind of you all.  Much appreciated.

I really do despair constantly about the utter stupidity of our elected officials, ordained clergy and others in the plethora of NGOs when it comes to the matter of Islam.  Anyone with even a cursory understanding of the teachings of Mohammed knows that Islam’s stated aim is to create a world-wide Caliphate whose goal is to completely eradicate every other religious and non-religious ideology.  And yet all of the above entities seem to be in a constant state of shock, no matter how many times it occurs, when adherents of Islam do precisely what their religious scriptures instruct them to do.  It seems that we (ie. the powers that be) never, ever learn.  It will be the West’s undoing.

Well in the overall scheme of things the newspapers reported that the muslims in the mosque which buried him were asked for donations for the cost of his funeral and they too said no, the church which baptised him should pay.

No, it shouldn't.

Their action was naive, but sincere, you can't punish people for that.

Maybe you would like to explain that to the women and her children  who abdul azedi attacked,i'm sure they would be comforted by the fact the church which baptised him was sincere in your opinion.

Frip - You are talking nonsense.

Just because I think the church was sincere does not condone their stupidity, or suggest that I think for one moment that their action was justified in any way.

Understanding something does not automatically equate to agreeing with it and defending it.

Do you mean in your opinion that i'm talking nonsense?you admit the actions of the church were not justified ,which subsequently led to innocent people people having life changing injuries yet still fail to condemn them, ezedi is only one example of the self-centred church trying to boost their congregation by thinking these illegals will go to church and help fill their coffers,it just ain't going to happen, break the law getting here and then break the law when here, just wake up and see what's happening to our once great country.

I wonder who paid for his funeral?

He had an Islamic burial. His family/friends would have paid for it,

nope. Times today. There is a charity that gives Islamic burials to those without means or  relations. ( cd be a waqf - too technical - this is AB) The funeral cost £6000. The organiser said that the denomination ( religion) of the burial is the choice of the people attending and nothing to do with the wishes of the dead man - oo-er sheikh !

but they had a collection for this and instead of saying it was for Ezaedi they said it was for a tragic death in suspicious cirbumstances

there was been a complaint to the police for breach of trust ( not using the loo-loo for the purpose for whcih it was collected)
