It will be worth seeing when Labour gets into power,both at Westminster and at Holyrood if they will sort out any of the problems the UK has just now?.The same problems the Tories and the SNP have had,and havent resolved.Am i the only one that wants a new sort of system here in the UK?

I am afraid the awful trollop will walk out of this with a smirk. I believe there is a statute of limitations on electoral fraud or 'misunderstandings' (1 year ?) The GMP seemed very reluctant to get invoved in this at the onset and I doubt their stance has much changed. Alas.I hope I am wrong.

If they're looking at offences under the 2003 Representation of the People Act, apart from foreign interference in elections, proceedings must begin within a maximum of twenty-four month of the alleged offence.

The normal limit is a year but an application can be made for a twelve-month extension.

Unless the offence is recent, I'm wondering what they're investigating.

Your not comparing like with like, the police investigate criminal offences, possibly fraud in this case, if they had to look into everything that some people perceived as a bad decision by goverment there wouldn't be enough hours in the day to get through it all.
