O-Type Blood Donors Needed After London Cyber-Attack

NHS Blood and Transplant is appealing for O blood-type donors to book appointments to donate as this is safe to use for all patients.

The IT attack means the affected hospitals cannot currently match patients' blood at the same frequency as usual.//

Coincidentally I was booked to give today but something came up and I had to switch to next month. 
I encourage anyone who doesn't give regularly to consider donating. Most of us have a friend or relative who has needed blood; and you'll be rewarded with a Jacob's Club Biscuit!

I gave blood for donkeys' years until they told me not to bother anymore...because my blood wasn't that useful, being AB+ (only 2% of UK population).
