Is it just rent a mob jumping on the latest hot topic or do they really want to stop using all oil products? If the latter we'd be going back to the stone age. Perhaps if they demonstrated how to live without oil products they'd get more understanding from the general public.

sustainable energy (i.e. renewables and nuclear power) plus electrification.

we aren't doing it principally because of the lobbying power of fossil fuel companies and the cost of building nuclear power stations.

I was at the Prem Final at Twickenham last year when a couple of clowns invaded the pitch, disrupted the game and threw orange powder about, and if the crowd was a barometer of the wider population, they are not supported. The only supporters of JSOs pathetic narcissism seem to be JSO.

well I like JSO. I understand I am in the minority there but so be it. they don't mind getting arrested and clogging up courts and prison cells (if it comes to that). they're also not interested in "converting" people. they want people who already understand the problem to do something, and if they convince even one person to get up off their bottom then their stunt has succeeded.

I got a warm feeling when those idiots scaled the QE2 bridge at Dartford and both received decent(ish) custodial sentences and pretty much ruined their future prospects. My warm feeling got warmer when JSO whined about the convictions.

 

Untitled likes them, which is far enough I suppose, odd, but fair enough - I can't stand them and I suspect the majority of the nation can't either.

Eventually they'll un bivvy themselves and come down. The error was reacting. Same with those tawts that glue themselves to the road just tip a bucket of water over them and leave them there to rip their own hands off the road when they need a gypsy's kiss.

Oh I largely agree. I never reacted when my kids had tantrums- I just ignored it knowing they'd soon stop in the absence of a reaction.
