Julian Assange never "leaked American classified documents that would embarrass them on the world stage", it was one of their own, that apparently has been punished accordingly.
He published said documents, as would most news outlets, if they were brave or silly enough.
Do some people have a problem with the truth?
the crimes he exposed were graver by far than any he might have committed. not a hero exactly but he did the world a service.
