Maybe they could take the Con from Conservatives, and the form from Reform, and see what they come up with.

Yes - there is a prospect of a Tory leader of African dscent. That would be the favourite: Kemi Badenoch. 

Khandro can speak for himself but he's previously stated that he was unhappy with the prospect of a Sunak premiership because of the lack of white PMs in the Indian subcontinent. I remember you actually admonishing him for that.

I'll let Khandro confirm whether he'd be happy with a Kemi premiership and what's happened to change his opinion.

SP, I've  only seen him object to religious persuasion - I had that conversation with him myself when Sunak was in the running for the PM's job - but ok.  Hopefully he'll let us know.

The problem I have finding his comment about Sunak's suitability for PM is that it may have been as a comment in someone else's thread.

I doubt that family roots have much of anything to do with how good a PM might be. Certainly not if they keep spiritual beliefs and secular matters separate.  It's those who insist on bringing their blind faith in myths & creeds to the party that causes friction.

Trade agreements must be kept totally separate from other issues, migration included. One is either talking 'trade' or one is not and should come back to the table when prepared to discuss the subject in hand.

Badenoch is great at preaching to the converted but she is tetchy and invidious and she does not hold up very well when she is scrutinised by her opponents. i think they might end up regretting it if they choose her. she is not very likeable outside of tory circles.

priti patel will do whatever nigel farage tells her and the public have had the benefit of a couple of years to forget what a horrible person she is. if she wins then farage won't need to join the tories, he will effectively control the party from the outside. she was also not involved in the plot to remove boris johnson. i think it is most likely to be her.
