Congrats To Spain.....
They were the best side in the tournement. I am dissapointed but not surprised. We had our moments and I enjoyed the goal and the joy it brought in my club but if I'm honest we were only really in with a shout because of several brilliant saves from Pickford. Could easily have been 4-1. We found a way and got to the final, I'm proud of that, well done guys but we need work to win a major tournament.

22:30 he wont be replaced he's the most successful manager since 1966, actually statically better than Ramsey.
22:32 Silly thing to say. He's the only manager to get us to 2 European finals and a world cup semi. Did you engage the brain cell before making that crass comment? You should consider a change of handle.
22:42 I never said that they played well, they played as well as they were allowed to by a quality side. We must accept that that's the best we can do at the moment. your moronic comments just underline your ignorance. The manager has done well with what is available. We must accept that having given football and indeed all the proper sports to the world that we are not the best at them.
The village hasn't been in touch with me, but there again, I didn't give them my number.
Decent game from both sides. Both had periods where they dominated. I wouldn't talk down our team's performance simply because the goalie did well, that's what he's there for. All teams will show strengths & weaknesses, a good defence is as useful as a good attack. Disappointing result for us but we've snatched victory in the dying moments time & again so can't really object when our opponents manage it against us. Well done to both teams.
We rode out luck throughout the tournament but came up against the best team in Europe in the Final. We did as well as many of us expected - those of us who are not carried away with media hype.
The players can feel proud to have reached the final for the 2nd time in succession. Congrats to Spain - worthy winners.
